Track Review: Markus Schulz ft. Adina Butar – Caught on Coldharbour Rec. + Official Video
From the first time I heard the upcoming Markus Schulz track “Caught” debuting new Schulz Music Group vocalist Adina Butar, I was ‘caught’. Hearing the uplifting, yet bass heavy track at Pacha NYC back on May 4th for the first time ever live, it was easy to tell that this would be an instant hit. I immediately needed to know what the song was called, and when I could get my hands on the track officially. Meeting Adina at Pacha that evening, she seemed very excited to be a part of SMG and for the release of the track. When it came time during Markus’ set in New York (which by the way, lasted until 6am!) for the new single to drop, it pulsed through the crowd as if it has been their favorite song for months. “Caught” had an amazing response at Pacha NYC and also again a few weeks later when the single went hard through the circuitGROUNDS of Electric Daisy Carnival for Markus Schulz’ set.
Learning more about Adina through our EDM Insider interview and coverage about her linking with Schulz Music Group, it’s easy to fall in love with her beautiful voice. Adina spoke to us about joining Markus during his set during A State of Trance 550, where the track would be heard as well. Easily a #TranceFamily favorite right now, all of us have been eager for the official release date. Plus with remixes on the way from Tritonal as well as Duderstadt, we can anticipate the longevity of the track with this different, yet complementing remixes. With an ethereal summer vibe, the vocals are spot on by Adina, making us long for more trance melodies from the Polish singer. You can finally get caught with Adina Butar and Markus Schulz on July 9th when it releases through Coldharbour Recordings.
