Jack Beats, the infectious DJ duo from the UK, recently released the first of their two mini-albums on OWSLA. Their debut EP features collaborations with some of the best producers in the industry, including Moombahton lovers’ favorite and infamous jokester Dillon Francis. Don’t let the mild opening of the track and cheery piano chords fool you. The track progresses from its slow beginning, utilizing Dillon’s traditional catchy melodic synth sounds, and launches into a moombah banger with just the right touch of dubstep, ushered in by the ominous audio sample: “This latest craze continues to be an epidemic of drugs, dancing and general debauchery - can we make any sense of it? Let’s find out.”
