Track Review: Hyperbits – “Move” Released on Auryn Music
“A ‘bit’ is short for a binary digit – the idea that all computer technology can boil down to a series of ones and zeros.” I think it’s safe to say that the creative and dynamic musical equivalent to those ones and zeros is New York City’s own EDM duo Hyperbits. The long term friendly duo of Robert Palliser & Serik Slobodskoy make a very opposite, yet very in sync team that skillfully and melodically fuse together ‘big room’ progressive house, electro and trance to create an intricately formulated, unique sound. The seek to create music that is full of energy and makes people want to dance and once again they did just that with their newest production “Move” released on the Auryn Music Label on Monday, June 18th, 2012.
Hyperbits newest track “Move” is a light, funky tune with a very soft, relaxing tone perfectly fit for a ‘party starter’. Hyperbits use an effect-formulated robot voice to present the chorus throughout “Move”, which plays over a very soothing progressive melody which blends an uplifting electro overlay that plays over a trance sound-base. Throughout Hyperbits “Move”, our ears can catch temperate piano-efx that match the piano build heard early on this track. When “Move” releases to the body of this soon to be summer anthem, listeners are sent on an elevating ‘electronic-infused, trance-inspired quest.
