Track Review: Afrojack – Rock The House (Original Mix)

It’s hard to talk about EDM without mentioning Afrojack these days. It seems he’s crossed over from underground to main stream overnight. He’s involved himself with Paris Hilton and has toured relentlessly on the EDM circuit since 2006. He’s hardworking, dedicated and a solid music producer / DJ, working with everyone from Pitbull and Ne-Yo to remixing MJ’s Bad. However, one of the biggest criticisms I have with Nick van de Wall is that nearly every set was sounding the same for a while. Fast forward to 2012, things look bright for this dirty dutch all-star.

This Monday, July 16th, Afrojack releases one of his most massive melodic house jams to date. Previewing at Ultra Music Festival, Rock The House absolutely destroyed the Miami spectacle, setting souls free and boys and girls alike, wild. Hands will not drop for the entire duration of this song. It’s that massive. I dare not say it, but my prediction is this is the new LE7ELS.

YouTube user name, Paolownd, has said it best in one of the comments in the video below: Faith in Afrojack: RESTORED!
