Ticket Giveaway: DayGlow Tour Stops in Brooklyn this Sunday 7/15/12

Everyone’s favorite EDM paint party is coming to Brooklyn Festival Grounds this Sunday, July 15th. Who wouldn’t want to celebrate Life in Color, ending the weekend with the world’s largest paint party. Welcoming Mr. Dirty Dutch himself, Chuckie as our headlining act along with the increasingly popular Belgian DJ duo, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.  What’s sure to be a crazy and colorful Sunday in Brooklyn this weekend will be enjoyed by only the lucky ones who were able to purchase tickets. Unfortunately for some EDM hopefuls, the tour’s pit stop in New York City had so much hype, the tickets sold out faster than anyone could even click “Purchase”. After the event’s tickets were no longer available to anyone to didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg on StubHub, we teamed up with DayGlow to give away TWO free tickets to fans!

Ending off their second US tour with DayGlow, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike have been heating up our airwaves with some of the most beloved EDM tracks including their 2011 Tomorrowland Anthem collaboration with Afrojack and Nervo in “The Way We See the World”.  They have done remix work for superstar acts like Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull (check out their Papi Remix) as well as their latest tech house remix on Guajira Recordings of Ben LB’s Lala Li Lala. Catching these boys at EDC Las Vegas was the best decision ever, because the completely destroyed from start to finish! Don’t believe me? Listen below! The way WE all see the world this Sunday may be glared with neon paint and laser lights, but we can’t wait to enjoy it all with the masterful sounds of these two DJs.

As if Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike didn’t entice you enough, the king of Dirty Dutch, Chuckie will be getting wild at the DayGlow stage. He even just tweeted about it! Who’s ready Chuckie? We are.

After seeing Chuckie at both EDC New York and again at EDC in Vegas, he easily gained brownie points in my book with his mixing and mash-ups throughout both sets. I still get chills when Chuckie spun in his dirty electro single, What Happens in Vegas, in Las Vegas. It was sheer mayhem throughout the crowd at the main kineticFIELD stage. Literally mashup after mashup, I noticed how much the crowd was in love. I even saw a few Kevin McCallister faces at certain drops. (Yes, I am taking about the infamous scream face, hands on cheeks too!) Particularly I loved how he teased Nadia Ali’s vocals from Rapture over the build up of Knife Party’s Internet Friends with Electrixx – Tetris. Even though listening to his Vegas EDC set will not bring you the same experience, it is still something that should be listened to on repeat. Plus, it’s a great way to amp yourself up for DayGlow this Sunday!

Want to gain “Momentum” with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike or head to the “Promise Land” with Chuckie? Enter our contest below now! Good Luck!
