Number one DJ in the world, four years in a row? Enough said. Armin the Legend, excuse me, Armin van Buuren is coming to Chicago’s Congress Theater on Saturday, May 26th and he will be sure to ruffle some feathers. His opener, up-and-comer Blake Jarrell with his melodic progressive sound, is sure to deliver instant gratification as well.

Even now where the dance scene has blown up worldwide, Armin consistently finds ways to keep the trance scene alive and strong. While primarily known as the king of Trance, Armin has an inexplicable talent that leaves a lasting impression on all who hear him. Let’s put it this way, Guetta opened for him at Ultra this year. I personally like Armin because his tracks never fail to hit that sweet spot of danceable trance. AvB is sure to drop his new track “We Are Here To Make Some Noise,” which may appeal to the “casual” EDM concert goer because it falls in the progressive house genre. Not to mention, he is obviously going to drop “In And Out Of Love,” a classic song that is always a staple for Armin sets.

Besides saving best for last, there is probably a reason why Armin was the closing headliner at Ultra Music Festival as well as this Friday AND Saturday at NYC’s Electric Daisy Carnival - to leave people wanting more. Well Chicago, here’s your chance!
