Obie Tryce – Tribute For Amos (Evren Ulusoy Remix)
2 Years ago, Evren Ulusoy took a stab at a superb Deep House track by Obie Tryce. This super groovy remix is my absolute favorite version of the original production.
Tapesh – Alright (Original Mix)
If you’re an avid listener of Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 show, then I’m almost sure you’ve heard one of Tapesh’s productions! This track will most likely have you saying ‘Baby Babyyy’ over and over in the next few days. Super catchy production that I couldn’t resist posting!
H.O.S.H. & Misstress Barbara - Finally Mine (Gorge Remix)
First heard this on John Digweeds ‘Structures Two’ compilation a few years ago. Definitely the pick of the week!
Tong & Rogers – Shake The Dice (Pirupa Remix)
Alright, Alright! I’ll admit it, I went a little too deep the first few tracks. Let’s pick up the pace shall we? Italian producer Pirupa adds his distinctive sound to Shake The Dice, with a big groovy bassline and his (fan-favorite) use of percussion sounds. There’s an insane amount of funk in this track. Get ready to bounce!
Alan Fitzpatrick – Always Something For Nothing (Original Mix)
I really wasn’t kidding when I mentioned last week that Drumcode was my favorite label. Personally, Always Something For Nothing, demonstrates what the Drumcode label is all about. Dark, heavy, and powerful are just some of the many words that come to mind when listening to this from start to finish. The break is a perfect opportunity to catch your breath before the drop gets you moving again.
Slam – Vespula (Original Mix)
Here’s another powerful techno production released on, you guessed it, Drumcode. If you enjoyed the track posted above, I’m sure you’ll without a doubt appreciate Slam’s Vespula production. The low humming bass works best with a powerful sound system or a good set of headphones. I’ve listened to Vespula way too many times for my own good.
