Review: Stoneface & Terminal with Ronski Speed Take Over Another MASSIVE Thursday at Pacha NYC 5/3/12

The powerful German trance duo Stoneface & Terminal along with Ronski Speed certainly shook up Pacha NYC last Thursday May 3, 2012 as Massive Event provided us with yet another dynamic night. Ronski Speed opened up the evening with a lot of energy playing powerhouse EDM tracks like Omnia “The Fusion” and Andy Tau & Sean Truby’s  “Rapture (Suncatcher Remix)” and the crowd was charged.

As we neared midnight, the floor was growing by the masses and Ronski Speed continued to keep the energy up with consistently great 130+ bpm tunes. The twitter feeds were trending when he delivered dynamic classics like “Megashira” and a powerful mashup of Dada Life’s “Kick Out the Epic Motherfucker“ topped with Armin van Buuren’s hit single “In & Out of Love”. The crowd was loving it and the good vibes kept filling the walls of Pacha NYC as we  danced to one of my personal Cosmic Gate favorites “Be Your Sound”  featuring phenomenal vocalist Emma Hewitt. Ronski Speed always delivers a bold performance, giving us a great foundation before Stoneface and Terminal took the decks.

Stoneface and Terminal kept the energy alive with an uplifting set spiked with prefered opening dance hits like Gareth Emery’s vocal “Concrete Angel (John O’Callaghan Remix)”. Massive Event certainly satisfied trance fans once more with another unforgettable Thursday night. I’m sure some jaws dropped when Stoneface and Terminal hit us with Tiesto’s ever-so-classic “Adagio For Strings” intricately followed by Armin van Buuren and Anna Criado’s “Down To Love”. Everyone was having a great time to the electrifying melodies of “Soulseeker” and Stoneface and Terminal’s newest collaboration track with Ronski Speed “I Didn’t Know I Was Looking For Love”, but the dancefloor couldn’t help but lose control when the German duo dropped a solid ID mix of Gotye’s chart topper “Somebody That I Used To Know”. We survived another Thursday trance takeover with Massive Event, EDMinsider, Pacha NYC and the luminously satisfying Stoneface and Terminal along with Ronski Speed. Be sure to follow these EDM artists on Facebook and Twitter and keep an eye out for the official music video of “I Didn’t Know I Was Looking For Love” as well as many more power-house productions!
