Review: GetHeard in NYC Event Track Wrap Up

At last week’s GetHeard Event at Solas Bar in New York City, the staff at Solas served up strong drinks while hours worth of submitted tracks played. The talent ranged from star bound to amateur but the environment was friendly and everyone got play time including a halftime live performance by School ov Thought and a closing DJ set by Anomaly Code. Some notable tracks included:

Zhangtrain “Cabin in the Woods”
(electro trance lounge music)

The R.O.A.R. “Why I Love You Song” (Jay-Z & Kanye West vs. The Cure)
(progressive dubstep mash up)

Tim Midgley “Gravity”
(ethereal house with vocals)

Anomaly Code “Brain Freeze”
(moombaton dance groove)

Double Pants “Devilish Flow”
(party rockin’ mash up)

Flying Polish – Looking Longingly
(euphoric trance)
