Review: Eddie Halliwell presents Fire It Up 149 Feat. Toolroom Knights Album Sampler Mix
Eddie Halliwell’s newest installation of Fire It Up Radio Episode 149 is nothing short of EXPLOSIVE! He treats us with a fiery Toolroom Knights Album sampler halfway through the show delivering massive tracks like Trisco’s “Musak (Eddie Halliwell Remix)” which is out of this world, and Eddie Halliwell ‘s original club banger “Rock This Place”.
To get things started off right Eddie Halliwell opens his set with Disfunktion’s energy-pulsating track “Calette (David Gravell Remix)” synthetically transitioned into David Guetta and Nicky Romero’s new dynamic release “Metropolis”. What really got me Fired Up was of course Pryda’s “SW4 (Extended Outro Edit)” – this track is one of the many reasons we know and love Eric Prydz for his powerhouse nonstop interchanging 140+ bpm builds, synths and syncs, not to mention he throws a little conga drum effect in for our listening pleasure. The D. Ramirez Tekno Disco Remix of Zoo Brazil’s “Selected” provides us with our fix of modern-day disco house with a touch of latin flavor. If you need a little electric guitar effect complete with bass-pounding multi-level tones and tempos then you will enjoy D.O.D.’s “Hands”. What’s even better is that he throws in one of my favorites by Kaskade & Skrillex “Lick It”.
If you’re not fired up yet, the second half is sure to swindle your mind with a power sampler from the new ‘Toolroom Knights Album’ to be released soon on the Toolroom Knights Label. Eddie Halliwell opens the second half of FIUR 149 with “Musak”, followed by a surefire tune to get you jumping out of your seat, the synthesized spiraling tempo of “Iced Out (Calvin Harris Remix)”. Calvin Harris creates short builds intertwined with teasing in&out cuts. La Fuente’s “Bang Bang” is a masssive tune that was so intricately followed by Eddie Halliwell’s new elctro/progressive remix to Tiësto & Mark Knight “Beautiful World” – the closing build and monster-bass drop will definitely shock your senses! Fire It Up Radio Episode 149 was a strong gust of energy from beginning to end, closing with the electronic multi-level brainteaser “Quasar” produced by Hard Rock Sofa. I suggest you download and listen carefully to Eddie Halliwell’s ‘Fire It Up Radio – Episode 149’ because it will make you feel like every day could be Friday.
