Preview: This Thursday 5/24/12 Pacha NYC Hosts Gregori Klosman, Tyler Sherritt & Sevag
Fiery Thursdays at Pacha NYC continue this Thursday with the sultry, heart-thumping sounds of Frenchman Gregori Klosman with opening set by New York’s own power-force Tyler Sherritt and closing set by special guest Sevag. I can’t think of a better way to kick off the pandemonium that is to come this Memorial Day Weekend!
Gregori Klosman has taken the dance music scene by storm in the last decade headlining top world events alongside artists like Tristan Garner, Dabruck & Klein, and all the dirty Dutchmen including Chuckie and Afrojack. With his early head banging, chart- topping release alongside Tristan Garner “Fuckin Down”, and his killer remix to the infamous Lady Gaga’s “Americano” Gregori Klosman’s sound is in high demand and his career is on the rise. Gregori Klosman has received recognition from many top industry names like Erick Morillo, Axwell and Fedde Le Grand and he has done impeccable collaboration work with David Guetta, Tristan, Garner, Dabruck & Klein, and Nervo just to name a few. I know fans are patiently awaiting his newest upcoming releases “Peacock” and “Endless” sure to sweep dance floors across the globe. We know the name Gregori Klosman for powerhouse productions such as “Bombata”, “Low Battery”, “Miss You”, and of course “Fuckin Down”. He empowers our minds with an effervescently colorful take on electro-house with adrenaline-rising buildups and tweaked syncs. The party-goers at Pacha NYC are surely going to enter the weekend with nonstop dancing and excitement thanks to Gregori Klosman.
Tyler Sherritt recently shook the dance-floor of Cielo NYC back in April alongside house music maven Deniz Koyu, and we just danced with him all night at Hudson Terrace last Friday May 18. His name is no stranger to East Coast super-clubs having recently hit us with a killer bootleg mix to Cedric Gervais’ ever so popular “Molly Generation” and a bootleg to Ralvero’s Rage vs. Bassjackers “Mush Mush”. In addition to his killer remix skills, he has has flooded the Beatport charts with dynamic original productions like collaboration with First State “Maze”, “Wonders”, and two of my absolute favorites “On The Otherside” and ” Slashed”, and he even provides his OWN VOCALS! He sets the bar high with his energy-enthralled opening sets so I expect the walls of Pacha NYC to be rumbling this Thursday Night before Gregori Klosman hits the decks.
The closing set will be provided by very special guest Sevag, a New Jersey native who has been taking the East Coast by storm with headlining performances at Electric Zoo Festival, Pacha, Rebel, Ultra Bar, and Sullivan Room all by the age of 20. It all started with a piano at the age of 5, and redeveloped at age 11 when his older brother gave him CD’s infused with the sounds of Jonathan Peters and Junior Vasquez. His sounds come inspired by deep, dark, drum-based progressive house and the electric vibe of New York City’s one-of-a-kind underground dance music. I’m sure he will have our hearts and ears pounding when he closes down Pacha this Thursday after the highly anticipated Gregori Klosman.
