Review: Robbie Rivera – That’s A Good Meatball (Bais Haus Remix) on Dim Mak Records

The new Bais Haus Remix to Robbie Rivera’s killer electro track ‘That’s A Good Meatball’ sends listeners on a progressive electronic journey through 130-132 bpm of uptempo midi controls and electric effects sure to steam your EDM senses. The Bais Haus Remix to ‘That’s A Good Meatball’ starts out on an arising sequence of short beats that drive you to the pick up, or ‘peak’ of this track. After the opening electro-progressive climb, we are hit with a bass-thumping drop full of powerful synthesized bass. The drop of the Bais Haus Remix to Robbie Rivera’s ‘That’s A Good Meatball’ takes a deep, dark turn into progressive-tech type synths at the drop which made me a bit reminiscent of a Daft Punk inspired back-beat. Towards the close of this Robbie Rivera remake, listeners are sent on a mild rollercoaster ride as Bais Haus lowers the bass-level and drops the tempo once again giving us a second to breathe as they repeat the light electro ascendo that was heard in the opening of ‘That’s A Good Meatball (Bais Haus Remix)’.
