Preview: Myon & Shane 54 at Exchange LA with Aruna & Kristina Sky 7/13/12

In January, Hungarian producers, Myon & Shane54 put together their first International Departures compilation featuring 42 tracks on two discs. Their radio station of the same name, has garnered thousands of viewers for the duo’s slick and skilled ability to make some of the best exclusive mashups to hit the dance scene. Hot off their remix of Andrew Bayer’s “Keep Your Secrets,” Myon & Shane54 have some new Summer of Love style remixes on the way. Their alter-alias Velvetine (with legendary songstress Aruna) is also expected to have a release this year. Although quiet on original material, the unofficial mashup kings have a large array of tunes from their back catalog and always manage to sell out a show. This week they hit Exchange LA for another Insomniac “Awakening” event with a vocal performance and DJ set by Aruna and additional DJ support from resident Kristina Sky. Expect more than two tracks being mixed together at one time and unheard material for a let-it-all-out evening.
