Preview: Marco V Tonight at Pacha NYC with Special Guest Marcus Schossow

Dutch native Marco Verkuijlen, known to EDM fans as Marco V has grown to be one of the most diverse, adventurous andcreative dance music masterminds to date; developing and dismembering recordseven before pitch controls were introduced to turntables. His sound is ever-changing and always fresh, combing tech, electro and trance to bring us euphonious sounds that we have never heard before. We are certainly in for a treat as he prepares to tear theroof off of Pacha NYC this Thursday April 26th, 2012 with what issure to be a mind-blowing performance, brought to us by Massive Event. Special Guest Marcus Schossow has also just been announced!

From his early collaboration with Benjamin Bates bringing us “Luvstruck” and ‘The V.isionSeries’ in ‘98 to his killer26 track debut artist album ‘Con.Fusion’ (2002) which blew listeners away with head-poundingbeats like “Savage”, “Revolt!”, and “The Acid Pacemaker”, Marco V is considered one of the most creatively original producers of his day. He has delivered someof our favorite dance classics including “Godd”, “False Light”, “Indicator”, “Visione”, ‘Echnalava”, “More Than A Life Away”, “Anologital” and“ComaAid”, among many other chart topping hits. From sold out club venues to festival tents, Marco V makes thedance-floor rumble and the crowd praise him as he delivers a dynamic execution of  incomparable sound. In his uprising Marco V has held high ranking residency at Amsterdam’s largest Super-Club De Danssalon early in his career, createdhis own label ‘In Charge’ named after his first single “In Charge” which houses superstar artists Cliff Coenraad, Thomas Hagenbeek, DJ Preach, as well aslong-time partner Benjamin Bates, and he has received immense recognition from industry leaders Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, and Sander van Doorn. Marco has taken the global dance communityon a melodic adventure through the years with his regenerating productions while maintaining his place on the DJ MAG TOP 50 for 7 consecutive years. We were certainly “Unprepared” for the storm that he brought to the dance scene in the late 90’s, but now Marco V is a household name to the educated EDM follower. I expect thatPacha NYC will be filled wall to wall with loyal fans ready to dance and have several “OMG, I can’t believe he dropped that!” moments!

Four monster albums with industry changing tracks including “Predator”,“When The Night Falls”, “Coma Aid”, a forever growing list of hit singles and collaborations like “Organic”, “What Say?”, and “KaosTheory” (Sander van Doorn/Ali Wilson), and an unfaceted list of mix albumsand guest mixes, Marco V’s performances are highly anticipated and always leaving party-goers symphonically satisfied. He continuously deliversinnovative sounds that push all the boundaries assuring us that his music is unlike any other. We are certainly in for a long night of elevated sounds. And to add to the excitement, Swedish dance sensation Marcus Schossow will be hitting the decks as well! He always gives a “Swedish Nights” powerhouse performance equipped with pulsating tunes like “Kaboom” and “Moog Me”.
