Preview: GetHeard Spring Session at Solas Bar NYC

After a successful event at Sullivan Room last November with a line up of 22 local artists, GetHeard is back in action at Solas this Thursday night. The GetHeard Spring Session takes place from 7-10pm and will showcase tracks from all genres.

If you’re unfamiliar, here’s the deal per their website: “GetHeard is a collective of musicians who meet twice a month to discuss DAW production techniques, upcoming local concerts and shows, and anything musically related. Given our passion for making music and an understanding that opportunities to get material heard and critiqued in a live context are few and far between, we decided to create GetHeard Sessions to allow musicians the opportunity to have their music played in a NYC live bar/club setting.”

So if you like staying ahead of the mainstream and want to say you saw them way back when, come out and support local talent. Then, you’ll get to be this person: “Yeah I saw them a few years ago at this bar in the Village. It was awesome. It’s so insane, now they’re headlining EDC.” $5 cover goes to GetHeard.org to support the group and future events.
