Preview: Ben Gold & Tritonal Drop “Apex” on April 23rd
After their hit “Slave” held the #1 spot on Beatport Trance for almost three weeks, Ben Gold and Tritonal keep the club bangers coming with “Apex.” The heavy synths and upbeat, steady bass line make the track a blend of electro and trance. Hailing from Austin, Texas, progressive trance duo Tritonal has quickly risen into the spotlight. They are currently #83 on “DJ Mag’s” Top 100 DJs list. Tritonal has also come to dominate the Beatport charts, with seven top 20 singles from their debut album, “Piercing the Quiet.” Tritonal consists of Chad Cisneros and Dave Reed (pictured below). They started collaborating after meeting online in a sound production forum. After only a year, the duo’s first hit “Piercing Quiet” was voted best track by listeners of Armin van Buuren’s “A State of Trance” radio show.
Tritonal soon became one of trance music’s most exciting acts to watch. Today, Tritonal shows no sign of slowing down as they have a worldwide tour planned that will take them from the U.S. for ASOT550 in Miami, to India, and to Australia for the Creamfields tour. 2012 looks like the year for Tritonal to cement themselves as one of the world’s top DJs/producers. Check out Tritonal’s great tracks “Lifted” and “Still With Me (Club Mix)” that held the #1 position on the trance chart for weeks.
Don’t forget, “Apex” will available on April 23rd, currently nominated as “Future Favorite” on Armin van Buuren’s “A State of Trance” radio show.
