New Daft Punk – Emphazed (Single Leaked)

Not having released a single track in over 8 years, with the exception of the Tron soundtrack, one may say that is pretty impressive for the duo Daft Punk to reach an astonishing #44 on the DJ Mag Top 100 Poll this year. The untouchable Daft Punk can do no wrong in the eyes of fans, or even do nothing at all, and yet still EDM fans across the globe have been waiting in agony for more Daft-tunes. Just a little while ago, IndieShuffle.com shared a leaked track on their SoundCloud, supposedly from Daft Punk entitled ‘Emphazed’. The single includes the signature Daft Punk elements, starting off slow then gaining momentum as an almost trippy tune. More minimal in nature, the track is reminiscent of the Tron: Legacy soundtrack, in the best possible way. Whether or not this is TRULY a Daft Punk creation or just a hoax, this is an undeniable killer track. As if fans needed any more anticipation for the No End album slated to release in Spring 2013, we can all hope to hear more tracks lie Emphazed in the near future. There are also rumors flying around that Daft Punk has been in talks with the people from Coachella for a 2013 performance at the festival, but no official confirmation has been made.

Listen & enjoy:
