Music Video: Sander van Doorn & Julian Jordan – Kangaroo

Released yesterday on Doorn Records, comes the newest creative effort from Sander van Doorn and up-and-comer Julian Jordan. The track begins with some sounds that remind me of some of Sander’s older work, which builds into a progressive build before breaking down into an intense electro-house section. It’s bumping and filled with energy and manages to combine a lot of different types of music into one song.

In recent months, Sander van Doorn definitely has been taking large steps away from his roots and for the most part, I have been a fan of a lot of his changing sound. I love hearing artists evolve. However, it would almost be impossible for a song like “Kangaroo” to be identified as a Sander track a year ago. I like to hear artists evolving not abandoning their sounds, which Sander certainly does not do with this track.

It is also important to keep in mind that Julian Jordan co-produced this track and his creativity affected the song as well. “Kangaroo” is definitely a very solid track and seems to be gaining a lot of support from some of the biggest DJs out there.
