Made Event sets us up for an amazing Summer Saturday on June 30th, 2012 bringing us the praised sights and sounds of Dash Berlin to play alongside Tritonal, and Zack Roth at Governor’s Beach Club. Dash Berlin is ‘The Peoples DJ’ and a large advocate of the ‘Trance Renaissance’. He creates experiences for his ever expanding, nocturnal following of fans setting sounds that lure people in and keep them wanting more. Dash Berlin grew up in a musically proficient family with his father being a jazz artist and sister having been a nightclub dancer so it was set in Dash Berlin’s future to become a world renowned artist. He collected vinyl records from iconic EDM artists like Sven Väth, Oliver Lieb and Sander Kleinenberg, and then slowly but surely Dash Berlin began developing his own innovative style of mixing and producing. Inspired by Berlin’s Love Parade, Dash added “Berlin” to his identity and began making a name for himself throughout the past decade. From illegal warehouse parties in the Netherlands to now headlining A State of Trance Festivals, Dance Valley, Electric Daisy Carnival and several others, Dash Berlin continues to grow as a successor of the Trance and EDM industry because he has the ability to provide listeners with exactly what they want – a fresh take on electrifying progressive trance music. His sound invigorates people’s musical senses creating modern 135 bpm trance melodies with a high-energy electronic edge. Dash Berlin has blessed listeners with unforgettable global anthems like “Till the Sky Falls Down”, “Waiting”, and collaboration track with Cerf, Mitiska & Jaren “Man on the Run”. After receiving much accreditation and rising-stardom from Armin van Buuren’s ‘A State of Trance’ Radio show and the Armada label, Dash Berlin now owns his own recording label “Aropa” which is built to be a solid foundation for rising talent and established like-minded artists that want to share art, inspiration and creativity. He has a continuously growing list of new, chart-topping releases such as “World Falls Apart”, “Apollo Road”, “Disarm Yourself”, and “Better Half of Me” and the Dash Berlin fan following grows in thousands by the day. Dash Berlin is a positively spirited DJ/Producer who is passionate about the art of music and the feeling it creates among a unified group of people. He admits that he is still learning new tactics about the EDM industry each day so that he can continue to cultivate and reform, always providing his fans with something fresh and unconventional. He wow’s me every time I see him live and I am a huge fan of Dash Berlin outdoors – we worshiped his sounds at Ultra Music Festival, A State of Trance 500, 550, Electric Daisy Carnival and now he comes to New York City’s Governor’s Island for an transcendent afternoon of our favorite trance.
Playing alongside Dash Berlin will be special guests: Tritonal. Chad Cisneros and Dave Reed have become praised household names in trance. Recognized and supported by Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten, and several others, Tritonal have swept the Trance scene over the last 4 years with their stimulating electro-progressive melodies. Their energy is staggering as Dave waves his trance hands in the air while Chad climbs on whatever is it front of him so that they can interact and share their energy with their loyal following of Tritonians. The Fans love them and Tritonal loves their fans – the duo stays in constant contact with Tritonians through social media sites and blogs. Chad Cisneros and Dave Reed look to create a sound modified to every individual. In a recent interview that I held with Tritonal the duo explained that they are motivated to providing “dance music with class”, something that’s “fresh”, and they successfully deliver to sold out crowds world-wide. We love them for their captivating, chart-topping tracks “Slave”, “Still with Me”, “Lifted”, and “Everafter” which warm our hearts with conquering instrumentals, vocals and releases. Trance fans are surely excited to see Tritonal play alongside Dash Berlin under the New York City sunshine at Governor’s Island on June 30th, 2012.
Opening Set will be provided by New York’s praised artist Zack Roth. Zack Roth has become a staple in the New York City dance seen having headlined an array of east coast venues and events over the past decade with his “Deep, Dark, Danceable” music. Zack Roth has opened up for acclaimed artists Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz, and Ferry Corsten and has several original releases on major labels including Flashover, Anjunadeep, Armada, Silk Royal, and Dissident. Zack Roth always performs a lot of great energy and great tunes! We look forward to hearing him get the crowd at Governor’s Island riled up before Dash Berlin and Tritonal come on board.
