Review: Laidback Luke & Angger Dimas ft. Polina – Night Like This (Instrumental & Vocal Mix)

‘Night Like This’ is the latest and greatest instrumental single from progressive / electro house DJ and producer Lucas Cornelis van Scheppingen, better known as Laidback Luke. Here, Luke collaborates with Angger Dimas, a young and promising up-and-coming Indonesian DJ / producer, and provides us with two, 7 minute+ variations of this energetic song; the main mix and a club version. I love the main mix, complete with those giant drops we all get super excited about, but the club version really gets into it, providing some killer Dutch energy that is sure to liberate your legs and arms in a live setting. If that’s not enough, on the vocal version (set to be released on August 20th via Beatport) Polina throws down some really quite amazing vocal melodies that intensifies ‘Night Like This’ and turns the entire song into something really special. I love it and you should too.
