Review: GrayGoo Records on the Rise

Have you heard of the label GrayGoo Records? Well you will soon. GrayGoo Records is the new Italian label owned by Luca Fontana and Nicolò Pilchard aka Nicologik and Zephyr (pictured above). GrayGoo is stirring up a buzz since being founded in 2011. With a focus on creating innovative trance, electro and progressive house music, GrayGoo sets a new standard for Italian house music.
Besides managing the fast-growing label, Nicologik and Zephyr are set to become a household name in the European EDM scene. With club smashers like their remix of Tommy Johnson’s “Light and Tears” and their original mix “After The Dawn,” the duo seeks to climb the ranks of the best that Europe has to offer. Nicologik and Zephyr started working together in 2009 on their podcast the “Above the Mix Radio Show.” Since then, they have played in best clubs in the North of Italy and Switzerland, like Limelight, Amnesia, Magazzini Generali, and many more. This experience in the world of EDM motivated the pair to seek international acclaim and bring to light GrayGoo Records, a new label involving many artists. With talent like
Steve Brian, Jacob Van Hage, Erick Strong, and Creepers Gonna Creep, GrayGoo records seems to have big plans for the future.
Look out for the latest release on GrayGoo, Nicologik and Zephyr vs. Tiff Lacey – “Lost for Words” but in the meantime check out their banging remix of Darude’s “Sandstorm,” my personal favorite. Darude – Sandstorm (Nicologik and Zephyr Unofficial Remix).
