The electrifying event with Electric Beach at Santos Party House is one of the key Saturday night spots in the city, and this weekend with The Chainsmokers and Mark Zarrella will continue to bring the heat! For the first time ever, EDM Insider is teaming up with Joonbug NYC and Electric Beach to bring you this Saturday’s sponsored event! Join us alongside the New York City based duo Alex Pall and Rhett Bixler, better known as The Chainsmokers with special guest Mark Zarrella.
According to their Twitter bio the pair state, “we DJ and we smoke lots of Ciggs – it’s as simple as that.” The ‘smokers have been on the city scene fore several years now, filling our lungs with their smokey music that has kept us dancing throughout their numerous created dubstep and electro parties here in New York City. Back before these major players were unknown, The Chainsmokers have been brought in on performances with Steve Aoki, Kid Cudi, and Chromeo during their Mr. West Wednesdays. In more recent years the boys have held down residencies as hot spots such as 1OAK, Riff Raffs, SL East in the Hamptons and more.
Sharing the spotlight with such DJs as Joachim Garraud, Pete Tong, Calvin Harris, and even Avicii, they have a unique way of blending disco with funk soul and house music, wrapped up into one pristine performance behind the DJ booth.
