DJ Flash Role Models Power Mix April 2012 Review
Earlier this month, Flash the Deejay was featured in 92.3 third Role Models Power Mix series. Combining electro house, dubstep and moombahton, Flash brings a fresh and diverse genre of music to the typical mainstream music that is aired on the radio. What a relief! Opening his set with Black Card’s Remix of Original Don by Major Lazer, Flash sets the tone immediately, blending electro house and moombahton. He then continues with his bootleg of In My Toulhouse featuring, Axwell’s remix of Feenixpawl & Ivan Gough vs. Nicky Romero in the Tommy Trash remix, filling the melodic tune with deep, dirty beats. Flash then incorporates well-known hits like Slam the Door by Zedd, Tommy Trash’s remix of Steve Aoki feat. Wynter Gordon’s Ladi Dadi with his own bootleg of Hardwell’s Spaceman, blending it with Nadia Ali’s vocals of the IDMA award winning track, Pressure. Banger after banger, this mix will keep hitting you with dirtier, deeper beats, song after song. Flash keeps the energy throughout the whole mix, banging it out with R3hab’s hit, Chainsaw the Night. After being a guest mixer on 92.3 for the past three years, Flash has finally landed himself a mixshow that will start sometime this year. Also, with residences at New Jersey club venues such as 4Sixty6 and Joey Harrison’s Surf Club, he is definitely someone I would check out if I were you. With his energy filled sets of electro house and moombahton, I assure you if Flash is spinning, your night will be anything less of ordinary.
