Dirty South’s City of Dreams Tour Stops at Roseland Ballroom NYC 10/20/12

After what seemed like months of waiting, City of Dreams, the collaborative anthem from Dirty South and Alesso has finally been released through Dirty South’s Phazing Records on August 27th . Introduced to us at their Electric Daisy Carnival New York sets, the song is captivating with each beat, and the soothing vocals of Ruben Haze wonder their way into our hearts every time we hear the track. The City of Dreams known as New York has been spoiled when it comes to EDM parties lately, and the madness continues for the Nutella-loving Australian DJ here in New York on Saturday, October 20th. Shortly after the release of City of Dreams, Dirty South kept us on our toes with the announcement of the City of Dreams tour, and it’s stint in the city. However, speculation and uncertainty arose when thinking of who would be gracing the stage with him that evening. Just announced, Gregori Klosman, Mord Fustang, and a special DJ set from Rudimental will round out the night’s talent for what is sure to be an electrifying experience. Listen to Dirty South’s set from EDC in New York back in May of this year and prepare for what’s in store this October.

Both Klosman and Mord Fustang recently played New York gigs recently, and won the hearts of all who attended. Gregori Klosman, fresh off a headlining spot at Meatpacking District hotspot Cielo, had everyone talking about his set for days. After his August 9th performance, his set was so much in high demand that it made the cut of his 15th episode of his podcast, Klosmania for fans to relive the night over and over.

Mord Fustang was recently in town on Labor Day Weekend at Randall’s Island Park for Electric Zoo Festival. Having never seen Fustang live, I was intrigued to see what his style would sound like during a live festival. Not disappointed in the slightest, there was an abundance of energy through the crowd as I walked in to hear, ‘We Are Now Connected’ in the tent at Electric Zoo festival. The ‘Zoo’ animals were adorning and singing along the whole way through. With a bass infused sound all his own, Mord Fustang is a perfect edition to round out the stellar City of Dreams Tour stop in New York City on Saturday, October 20th.
