Dance.Here.Now. Presents Deniz Koyu Debut at NYC’s Cielo Nightclub
Labeled as one of 2011 ‘EDM Rookies to watch’, Germany’s homegrown Deniz Koyu is sweeping dance floors across the world with his eclectic, vibrant dance tunes and modestly rapid growing success. Recently labeled as “one of the most talented people in the game” by MTV, Deniz Koyu is on his way up and he is sure to give your feet a run on the dance floor, and that is just what he’ll do as he boldly graces the New York City underground scene with his debut at Cielo Nightclub this Thursday April 12th, 2012, brought to you by Dance.Here.Now.
I’m sure it didn’t hurt Deniz Koyu’s uprising to have acclaimed music trio Swedish House Mafia showcase three of Deniz’ killer tracks at their recent powerhouse show held at Madison Square Garden NYC in December 2011, which is a rarity among the Swedish group who are known for often presenting their own productions; but Mr. Koyu has had no problem gaining recognition from artists and fans worldwide with his immensely crafted original audio masterpieces. One of Koyu’s first killer tunes was “Tung!” which was sagaciously developed in just four short days and still never seizes to raise chills and adrenaline levels at every play, followed by several other musical compilations brought to us in 2011. “Tung!” along with electronic cinder-blocks “Hertz” and “Hydra,” were gracefully brought introduced to EDM followers on Fedde le Grand’s Flamingo Records this past year, but perhaps what gave Deniz Koyu immense recognition both in the news and in the clubs was his collaboration with Johan Wedel, bringing us the powerfully addictive remix of James Blunt’s “Dangerous.”
Deniz Koyu tells recent interviewers that he “never expected his sounds to go viral – pretty much every big DJ played the track, not only the Swedish House Mafia, but David Guetta, Tiësto as well as everyone else”. James Blunt definitely surprised Koyu by showing him how much of a ‘House Head’ Blunt really was was, finding out that every summer much of Blunt’s time is spent on the beaches of Ibiza, Spain. Since “Dangerous” became a late-year anthem, it should come as no surprise that DJ’s and artists amuck are demanding Deniz Koyu to do some remix work to their tracks.
Fresh faced in the EDM scene and ready to show us all that this German-based producer has, it is no question that Deniz Koyu will shock the electronic charts in 2012. As a pleasant treat, he is making his highly anticipated New York City Debut this Thursday April 12th, 2012 at NYC’s soulfully vibrant Cielo Nightclub. Prepare for the walls to shake and fans to be soul-shocked with the dynamic and tenacious sounds of up and coming EDM STAR, Deniz Koyu.
